Can I cancel a $0 build? Yes, anytime. $0 and discounted builds need a 12-month plan; if you cancel early, you pay only the unpaid part of the build fee (see how it's calculated).
When do the 12 months start? At your first payment. During the 12 months, you can downgrade only to a plan that still qualifies for your build (Business: Growth or Pro; Store: Pro); otherwise the early-cancel formula applies.
Who owns the domain and hosting? You do. Your domain and your platform or hosting plan are in your name, and you pay for them directly. We set them up for you, and if you leave, you keep everything. We can also help set up Google Workspace business email (you pay Google directly).
