10 reasons electricians hand their website to KeptWeb

Customers compare a few websites before they call. Here's how we make sure yours is current, fast and easy to contact.

  1. License and insurance info kept current

Renewed your license or changed insurance? We update the numbers and details you provide so homeowners and GCs see what's current.

  2. Service areas that match where you work

Added a city or stopped driving to another? We update your service-area pages so the right customers find you.

  3. Project photos that show your work

Panel upgrades, EV chargers, lighting and commercial jobs: send photos and we keep your gallery fresh.

  4. Quote and emergency forms that work

We check your service request forms, emergency call buttons and contact links work, so urgent calls reach you.

  5. Fast on phones

Most people looking for a electrician are searching on their phones. We keep your site mobile-friendly and watch for slow pages, which also helps your site be search-friendly.

  6. Click-to-call that works

Your phone number tappable and correct on every page, checked as part of your care.

  7. New services added as you grow

Started installing EV chargers, solar tie-ins or generators? We add pages so customers searching for that work find you.

  8. Review links, not fake reviews

We add links to your Google or other review profiles so customers can read and leave real reviews. We never write or post reviews for you.

  9. Security, backups and monitoring

Software updates, security checks, backups and monitoring on every plan, so your site is up when someone needs you.

  10. Flat pricing, month-to-month, you own it

Plans from $49/mo, month-to-month, cancel anytime online or by email. Your website and content belong to you.

What an electrician's website should show: your C-10 license and the work it covers

In California, electrical contractors are licensed by the Contractors State License Board (CSLB) under the C-10 Electrical classification. CSLB describes a C-10 contractor as one who "places, installs, erects or connects any electrical wires, fixtures, appliances, apparatus, raceways, conduits, solar photovoltaic cells or any part thereof" (CSLB's list of license classifications).

CSLB reminds licensed contractors to include their license number in their advertising, and says this includes websites and online postings (Business and Professions Code section 7030.5). CSLB also reminds contractors to advertise only for work within the classifications they hold.

How we can show it on your site

  • Your license number and classification, for example "Lic. #[your number], C-10 Electrical", in the footer so it appears on every page, and again on your contact page.
  • A link to CSLB's online license check, so customers can confirm your license status themselves.
  • Separate service pages for the electrical work you offer, such as panel upgrades, EV charger installs, lighting or solar, written from the details you give us.
  • A tap-to-call button for urgent calls, checked as part of your care.

Renewed your license or added a classification? Send us the new details and we update every page where they appear.

This is general information, not legal advice. Check CSLB's current rules, or ask your own advisor, for what applies to your business. Keeping your license active and the details on your site accurate stays with you.

Questions electricians ask us

Can you update our license and insurance info?

Yes. Send us the current details and we update them. Keeping your license and insurance active, and making sure what's listed is accurate, stays with you.

Will you post reviews for us?

No. We'll link to your real review profiles and can add a 'leave us a review' link, but we don't write, buy or post reviews.

Can you build a electrician website?

Yes. Starter (1–5 pages) is $349 or $0 with any 12-month plan; Business (6–10 pages) is $849 or $0 with a 12-month Growth or Pro plan. Extra pages, such as more service-area pages, are $99 each.

Is there a contract?

Not for monthly plans on their own. Maintenance plans are month-to-month and you can cancel anytime online or by email. $0 and discounted builds need a 12-month plan; if you cancel early, you pay only the unpaid part of the build fee (see how it's calculated).

Do I own my website?

Yes. Your website and content belong to you, not us.

Who owns the hosting and logins?

You do. Your domain, hosting and site logins stay in your name, and you can remove our access at any time.

How fast do you respond?

Support hours are Mon–Fri, 9 am–5 pm PT. Our reply targets: Basic: within 2 business days. Growth: within 1 business day. Pro: the same business day for requests received by 2 pm PT; later requests get a reply the next business day.

What is the free website review?

Send us your URL and we take a look at your current site and tell you what we would fix or freshen up first. There's no cost and no obligation.
