10 reasons plumbers hand their website to KeptWeb
Customers compare a few websites before they call. Here's how we make sure yours is current, fast and easy to contact.
License and insurance info kept current
Renewed your license or changed insurance? We update the numbers and details you provide so homeowners and GCs see what's current.
Service areas that match where you work
Added a city or stopped driving to another? We update your service-area pages so the right customers find you.
Fresh job photos
Water heater installs, repipes and remodels: send us photos and we keep your gallery current.
Emergency call and service forms working
When a pipe bursts, customers need to reach you fast. We check your emergency call buttons, service request forms and contact links work.
Fast on phones
Most people looking for a plumber are searching on their phones. We keep your site mobile-friendly and watch for slow pages, which also helps your site be search-friendly.
Click-to-call that works
Your phone number tappable and correct on every page, checked as part of your care.
Hours, emergency availability and pricing current
Changed your after-hours availability or service-call fee? We update it so customers aren't surprised.
Review links, not fake reviews
We add links to your Google or other review profiles so customers can read and leave real reviews. We never write or post reviews for you.
Security, backups and monitoring
Software updates, security checks, backups and monitoring on every plan, so your site is up when someone needs you.
Flat pricing, month-to-month, you own it
Plans from $49/mo, month-to-month, cancel anytime online or by email. Your website and content belong to you.

What a plumber's website should show: your C-36 license, emergency calls and the jobs you do
California licenses plumbing contractors under the CSLB C-36 Plumbing classification. CSLB describes a C-36 contractor as one who "provides a means for a supply of safe water, ample in volume and of suitable temperature for the purpose intended and the proper disposal of fluid waste from the premises in all structures and fixed works." The classification also covers gas piping and gas appliance connections, water heaters, and devices such as backflow preventers and gas earthquake valves (CSLB's list of license classifications).
CSLB reminds licensed contractors to include their license number in their advertising, including websites and online postings (Business and Professions Code section 7030.5).
How we can show it on your site
- Your license number and "C-36 Plumbing" in the footer of every page and on your contact page.
- A link to CSLB's online license check so homeowners and property managers can confirm your license.
- Clear after-hours details: whether you take emergency calls, when, and the number to call, kept current when your availability changes.
- Separate pages for water heaters, repiping, drains and gas lines, if you offer them, plus before-and-after photos you send us.
Renewed your license? Send us the new details and we update every page where they appear.
This is general information, not legal advice. Check CSLB's current rules, or ask your own advisor, for what applies to your business. Keeping your license active and the details on your site accurate stays with you.

Questions plumbers ask us
Can you update our license and insurance info?
Yes. Send us the current details and we update them. Keeping your license and insurance active, and making sure what's listed is accurate, stays with you.
Will you post reviews for us?
No. We'll link to your real review profiles and can add a 'leave us a review' link, but we don't write, buy or post reviews.
Can you build a plumber website?
Yes. Starter (1–5 pages) is $349 or $0 with any 12-month plan; Business (6–10 pages) is $849 or $0 with a 12-month Growth or Pro plan. Extra pages, such as more service-area pages, are $99 each.
Is there a contract?
Not for monthly plans on their own. Maintenance plans are month-to-month and you can cancel anytime online or by email. $0 and discounted builds need a 12-month plan; if you cancel early, you pay only the unpaid part of the build fee (see how it's calculated).
Do I own my website?
Yes. Your website and content belong to you, not us.
Who owns the hosting and logins?
You do. Your domain, hosting and site logins stay in your name, and you can remove our access at any time.
How fast do you respond?
Support hours are Mon–Fri, 9 am–5 pm PT. Our reply targets: Basic: within 2 business days. Growth: within 1 business day. Pro: the same business day for requests received by 2 pm PT; later requests get a reply the next business day.
What is the free website review?
Send us your URL and we take a look at your current site and tell you what we would fix or freshen up first. There's no cost and no obligation.
